Industrial Pesticide Applicator (20 Positions)

Term: Four-month positions
Location: Lloydminster, AB
Salary: $20.00/hr

The Company:
Based out of Lloydminster AB, Marksmen Vegetation Management Inc. provides industrial locations with vegetation control. We are a growing, expanding company providing over 20 years of service to our clientele. At Marksmen we are dedicated to providing high quality customer service.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Required to work independently as well as part of a team Operate spraying equipment, small engines, ATV’s and 4X4 trucks Record keeping: data entry, safety inspections and equipment checklists Subsistence pay will be provided while staying in hotel Remote pay for camp work

Qualifications:
Post-Secondary students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must be willing to travel periodically and work extended hours when necessary. The ability to demonstrate road experience with a one ton truck and 4x4 ATV is considered an asset. Current First Aid, H2S, ATV Training, WHMIS and TDG certification is advantageous; however training accommodations can be arranged. All employees will be adequately trained in the use/operation of all equipment and chemicals prior to their use. A farming background and/or small engine experience is considered an asset as well as an understanding of Alberta’s Township System.
