1. Annual Program
The annual program mix’s herbicides from four different groups giving you total control and reduced chances of weed resistance. Crews only visit your location once for the entire growing season. Other companies will send their crews to your locations 3x to get the same control with a contact program.
The ecological footprint, safety concerns and cost of visiting your location 3 x’s/ year must be considered. An annual program can be set up in early spring through to late fall depending on your schedule.
On-Site should be added to every herbicide sprayer’s tank mix when using residual herbicides. It aids in keeping all the herbicides ‘on-site’ minimizing off-site movement. The tank mix above is an example tank mix and may be slightly modified in different geographic areas and previous years of herbicides applied.
A contact pesticide is applied to and controls only growing vegetation.
Typically requires three - four applications per year depending on the growing season weather conditions.
Round-up herbicide is typically the only herbicide in the tank and with repeated treatments weed resistance may occur.
The spraying window for contact control is typically shorter, restricted to emergent plant species.
There is no warranty for contact programs.
3. Broadleaf Control Programs
This program is a selective tank mix of herbicides engineered to control only broadleaf weeds.
Typically this tank mix is sprayed in ditches/ road sides/berms/ pipelines where grass species are desirable but the broadleaf weeds are not.
These are selective herbicides, providing control to such species as: Scentless Chamomile, Oxeye Daisy, Canada Thistle, Common Tansy, Storks bill, Toadflax, and Dandelions.
There is no warranty for this program.
